On August 9th and 10th, 2024, SVKM’s NMIMS School of Economics, Navi Mumbai, celebrated its Convocation Ceremony, a momentous occasion that marked the culmination of years of dedication and hard work by the Batch of 2021-2024. The event was a grand celebration of academic excellence, with 35 graduates stepping up to receive their well-earned degrees.
The ceremony on August 9th was a day of pride and reflection, as students and faculty gathered to honor the achievements of the graduating class acknowledging their academic journey and the milestones reached. The air was filled with a sense of accomplishment, as each graduate was recognized for their unique contributions to the School of Economics.
On August 10th, the celebrations continued with a special focus on academic distinction. Three students were honored on the Dean's List for their exceptional performance, and one outstanding student was awarded the prestigious Best Student accolade. These recognitions highlighted the commitment to excellence that has been a hallmark of the institution.
The success of this convocation is a testament to the leadership and vision of the Director, Dr. Subhasheesh Bhattacharya. His guidance and support have been crucial in creating an environment where students can thrive, academically and personally. The convocation also served as an opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of Dr. Ishfaq Khoja and Dr. Hemangi Kelkar, whose mentorship and career guidance have been instrumental in shaping the futures of the graduates.
