About the event
On the occasion of our 76th Independence Day, the E-Cell of the School Of Commerce (SoC) and the Student Council of the School Of Economics (SoE), NMIMS, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council jointly organized an event themed "Independence Day- Celebrating Aazadi Ka Amrit Kaal 15th August 2023.” Two competitions were held within this event, the Elocution Competition and the Digital Campaign.
Elocution
For the Elocution Competition, each participant was given 5 minutes to speak on their respective topic. The topics were, "India's Historical Trend in Growth Due to Innovation”, "Esg and its Impact on Innovation in the Indian Economy” " and "Government Policies Inducing Growth and Innovation in the Country”.
Winners of the event: - First Prize: Pranjal Desai (2022-25); Tejasvi Chauhan (2023-2026)
Second Prize: Prisha Patni (2023-2026)
Digital Campaign
For the Digital Campaign, each participant was given an hour to prepare, and 5 minutes to present any form of digital artwork like posters, animations or videos. The topics were, "From Struggle to Soar: India's Journey of Innovation", and "Innovative Dreams: Building India's Prosperous Future".
