NMIMS NAVI MUMBAI STUDENTS CHAMPION THE BOTTLES FOR CHANGE INITIATIVE BY BISLERI INTERNATIONAL

We're proud to announce that SVKM'S NMIMS Navi Mumbai has been awarded first place for most active contribution in ‘Bottles for Change’, an initiative by Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd.

This initiative focuses on creating awareness amongst all citizens about waste segregation, recycling of plastic bottles and best practices towards a cleaner environment. As a part of the program, Bisleri conducts plastic recycling awareness and collection drives in schools, colleges, corporate offices, malls, festive & social gatherings, events, etc.

Bisleri has partnered with 3 Non-Governmental Organisations in Mumbai - Parisar Bhagini Vikas Sangh, Sampurna Earth, and Garbage Concern Welfare Society. The plastic collected is crushed, sold to recyclers and then converted into flakes. These flakes are then used to create non-edible products such as cloth fabric, Handbags, Window blinds, and other useful products.

We congratulate our students, especially Ms. Tavishi Chauhan, Mr. Kushal Sarawagi, Mr. Nakul Shelgaonkar and Ms. Prachi Bhuta who led this initiative and made it a success. We at NMIMS Navi Mumbai are proud of you!
